Who We Are
When our family purchased the grounds directly from the original stewards, we accepted more than just the deed paperwork - we received their promise to guard every memory with kindness. Today, a proud Latina leadership team carries that promise forward. We still salute service members with zero-cost plots reserved for United States veterans, and we cradle innocence in our grounds where infants under two may rest without charge.
Wander the paths and you will hear love in many languages: a Medal of Honor recipient, Finnis Dawson McCleery’s final role call, a mother’s soft lullaby, the friendly greeting of our groundskeepers who treat every name as kin. Belvedere and Pioneer Memorial Parks remain family-owned, rooted in a 1927 tradition and growing warmer with every generation, preserving love, history, and hope for San Angelo families.
In 1927, a group of San Angelo civic leaders set aside this gentle rise on Arden Road as the town’s first garden cemetery, a place where families could find shade and peace instead of crowded churchyards. For almost a century, the park remained with the founding family, expanding row by row as neighbors trusted their stories to the red West Texas soil.

A Personal Journey of Faith, Family, and Service
My name is Karla, and my journey to Belvedere Memorial Park began during a season of personal loss and transition. I moved to Texas to stand beside my husband as his family faced the passing of loved ones. In that time of grief, we also began to dream—not just of a better life for ourselves, but of a way to help others during life’s most tender moments.
With over seven years of experience as a home caregiver, I’ve had the privilege of caring for elders in their final chapters—including my husband’s grandparents. Through that work, and through volunteering in our local community, I’ve come to deeply understand the quiet strength of compassion and the power of presence.
We started with a small cleaning business—just the two of us, building trust one job at a time. Then, three years ago, my husband began working at Belvedere Memorial Park and a local funeral home. He was struck by the quiet beauty of the cemetery, its rich history, and the deep need families have for guidance and comfort during times of loss. That experience lit a spark in both of us. When the opportunity came to take on stewardship of Belvedere, we took a leap of faith.
As a Latina woman, a mother of 2 boys and small business owner, I’ve faced many obstacles. But through every challenge—storms, setbacks, and long days—I’ve also found purpose, strength, and an enduring love for this community. Today, I am proud to lead Belvedere Memorial Park with dedication and heart.
This work is personal to me. Every family we meet, every headstone we care for, every flower left in remembrance—it matters. And it’s an honor to walk beside others as they honor their loved ones.
At Belvedere, we don’t just maintain a cemetery. We nurture memory, respect history, and serve with heart.
Levi Tullos Director of Sales
Born and raised in San Angelo, I’ve always believed in taking care of our own—especially during life’s most difficult moments. For the past three years, I’ve had the honor of walking alongside families as they navigate funeral and cemetery planning, whether they’re preparing for the future or facing a recent loss.
I’m a husband, a father to two amazing boys, and someone who finds deep purpose in serving others. My wife and I are proud to raise our family here in the same community that raised me.
At the heart of my work is a commitment to compassion, clarity, and care. Whether helping a family plan ahead, honoring a veteran’s legacy, or comforting a family after the loss of a child, I believe every life deserves to be remembered with dignity and love.
